Skelligs Chocolate Co. has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise, and where applicable. Packaging may vary from that shown. The weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. If you want to buy things from us, you will need to register on our site. All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.
You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on “submit” or “make payment” on the final page of our ordering process.
Delivery charges vary depending on the type of products ordered and the service you select and cannot be refunded. Your delivery charges will be clearly indicated at checkout.
Acknowledgment and Acceptance of your Order
If you have supplied us with your email address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and email you again to confirm details. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the product(s) ordered.
Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven days of receipt of the goods. Where goods are delivered to a third party you will only be able to exercise this right if you are able to return to us the goods you ordered.
Exclusions of Liability
Any disclaimers and exclusions of liability in these terms & conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Skelligs Chocolate Co. or any of its employees or agents or fraud. These disclaimers and exclusions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Law. If any provisions of these disclaimers and exclusions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
We use a registered postal delivery service which cannot guarantee a time or day of delivery. If you are unable to take delivery of the goods, a card will be left and you will have to collect the item at your local postal collection depot.
Prices and Availability
Skelligs Chocolate reserve the right to change prices and availability without notice.
Spinning the Wheel
We operate a ‘Spin The Wheel’ plugin on our homepage and this will provide the possibility of an immediate discount for users. This discount is for use online (only) and will expire within 24 hours. Any potential discount is not applicable to trade, corporate or wedding orders.
We endeavour to ensure all the information on the website is correct but do not accept liability arising from errors.
We do not accept any liability for any errors arising from incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
Local weather and customs
It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to check with their local customs and excise regulations to ensure a smooth delivery.
Some regions experience warm / hot weather conditions and it is the customers responsibility to be aware of these when ordering. Skelligs chocolate cannot take responsibility for ‘melted’ or ‘damaged’ chocolate due to heat. We have no control over the way couriers store our product once it leaves our factory.
Any complaints will be acknowledged and we will endeavour to resolve any issue within 5 workings days
