Savour a chocolate competition

The Skelligs and Cocoa Bean Chocolate company on St. Finian's Bay in Co. Kerry is offering chocoholics the chance to win an all expenses paid trip for two to enrol in a Callebaut chocolate making course. The course is run by celebrated Swiss Chcolate makers Barry Callebaut and the prize is worth €1,500.

The competition is free to enter, and visitors to the Skelligs and Cocoa Bean comapny can sample freshly made chocolates while they fill out their forms.

Anyone who makes a purchase on the firm's website at www.skelligschocolate.com will automatically be entered into the competition.

Weirdly Wonderful Easter Eggs

Last minute Easter egg shoppers looking for their adult friends can choose from an unusual range produced by Skelligs & Cocoa Bean Chocolates.

The Kerry based artisan chocolate producer has launched a selection of quirky eggs including strawberry & champagne, gin & tonic, hazelnut praline, rose & pistachio, and an Extreme egg, which combines 71 per cent cocoa solids with French Champagne and pure vanilla.

Eggs range in size from 250 grams to a kilo, and prices start from €10 for the smallest to €30 for the largest eggs.

Alcohol-free nibbles include a range of flavoured chocolate buttons, truffles presented in hand painted drums, coffee-flavoured chocolate sticks and a chocolate Easter bunny at €6.

The company has chocolate shop in ST. Finian's Bay in Kerry, and its produce is stocked in a wide range of quality food shops around the country.
