Weirdly Wonderful Easter Eggs Last minute Easter egg shoppers looking for their adult friends can choose from an unusual range produced by Skelligs & Cocoa Bean Chocolates. The Kerry based artisan chocolate producer has launched a selection of quirky eggs including strawberry & champagne, gin & tonic, hazelnut praline, rose & pistachio, and an Extreme egg, which combines 71 per cent cocoa solids with French Champagne and pure vanilla. Eggs range in size from 250 grams to a kilo, and prices start from 10 for the smallest to 30 for the largest eggs. Alcohol-free nibbles include a range of flavoured chocolate buttons, truffles presented in hand painted drums, coffee-flavoured chocolate sticks and a chocolate Easter bunny at 6. The company has chocolate shop in ST. Finian's Bay in Kerry, and its produce is stocked in a wide range of quality food shops around the country. |
